You can require participants to submit references to participate in an event or go on a trip.
You must be a Go Methodadmin to do this.
You can set reference rules to determine the number and type of references each participant needs to fulfill a reference requirement.
In the top menu, click Events > References.
In the left menu, click Settings.
On the right, click Edit.
Under reference rules, click Add Rule to require a reference.
To require a specific reference (such as from a pastor or family member), click Change.
To set an expiration date for references, enter a value (in months) in the Reference Expiration field.
To allow participants to request references even if they are not participating in an event that requires references, click Yes under the References Eligibility section. To restrict participants from requesting references if they are not in an event that requires references, click No.
Once complete, click Update Settings.
You have now set the rules and requirements for references. You can adjust these requirements at any time.
