Text Messaging Subscription

Pause Texting Communications

You can pause and re-enable texts at any time.

Warning:

New sign-ups for Realm texting are currently disabled.

We have extended our partnership with Constant Contact to provide a SMS texting solution as an option for Realm. Click for more information.

You can export your existing Realm texting opt-in records to import into Constant Contact.

You can temporarily turn off parts of your text subscription. For example, if you see that your account is approaching the maximum number of texts for your plan, you can pause texting so that you don't accrue an overage.

When you turn off one-way texts, administrators and users with permissions won't be able to send one-way texts until you re-enable it.

When you turn off Connect Inbox texts, group and team leaders will not be able to send texts until you re-enable it.

Turning texting on and off takes effect immediately, and your church will continue to use the same number for texting. You can still modify your text subscription while it is paused.

  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click Communications > Text Messaging.
  2. Click Edit Settings.
  3. To pause one-way texting, click the One-Way Texts tab and at the top of the page turn off One-Way Texts.
  4. To pause Connect Inbox texting, click the Connect Inbox Texts tab and at the top of the page turn off Connect Inbox Texts.
  5. Click OK.
    Note:

    Return to this page and repeat the process to turn texting back on.
