Set Class Exception Dates

With this process, you can assign the same exception dates to a group of classes. These are days that the classes/sessions will not meet during the year/period. This information displays in the Class Schedules section with the Class will Meet checkbox cleared.

  1. On the Information tab, click Students > Processes then, on the Formation Processes tab, click Set Exception Dates for All Classes/Sessions.
  2. In the grid on the left, click the add icon green plus sign, and enter the date that classes/sessions will not meet. If needed, enter a note or reason why they will not meet on this date, such as "Holiday" or "Teacher Work Day".
  3. Repeat this for each exception date you want to set.
  4. In the grid on the right, select the year/period to add the exception dates to. All classes/sessions are selected by default, but you can clear the checkbox beside any that you do not want to post to.
  5. Review your lists to ensure all the information is correct.
  6. To post, click Finish.
