Program Options

Set ID Number Options

You can select how to display and assign ID numbers for families and students.

  1. On the File menu in your PDS program, click Setup > ID Number Options.
  2. Select whether to allow blank family and/or student ID numbers.
  3. Select whether to use ID/envelope numbers from Church Office for family IDs in Formation Office.
    Tip: If you want a family's ID numbers to match between Church Office and Formation Office, select this option. This is useful in situations where the IDs need to match for online giving.
  4. To automatically assign family ID numbers or student ID numbers, select the checkbox, and enter the number that you want to start with.
  5. Click Save/OK.
