Family Maximums for Event Registration
An overview on applying family maximums for event registration.
You may need to enforce family maximums for certain types of registration, like for Religious Education. Here are two ways we recommend you set up product options or discounts to accomplish this.
Variable Pricing per Person
Scenario: You want to offer a maximum price per family depending on the number of children they are registering. You decide to charge a certain amount for the first child and a lower amount for subsequent children, until the maximum amount is reached.
Family Max: $100
Base Price: $0
- This is the first child I am registering: $50
- This is the second child I am registering: $30
- This is the third child I am registering: $20
- This is the fourth child I am registering: $0
