Live Scan provides another option for obtaining a background check. While there is no Live Scan integration, you can track Live Scan checks in the Platform.

1. Go to Lookup Values > Background Check Type.
2. Click New.
3. Add at least the following information:
   • Background Check Type: This should be "Live Scan".
   • Description: A note about the Live Scan service you're using.
   • Months Til Expires: Set this to a large number so the Live Scan does not show as "Expired" on Qualifications and Compliance views. May we suggest 9999? That's 833 years.
4. Click Save.

5. Go to Contacts > Background Checks.
6. Click New.
7. Add the information you received from the Live Scan.
8. For Background Check Type, select Live Scan.
9. Click Save.
