You can also obtain a Background Check with Live Scan. While there is no Live Scan integration, you can track Live Scan checks in the Platform.

1. In the navigation menu, click Lookup Values > Background Check Types.
2. Click New Background Check Type.
3. Add at least the following information:
   • Background Check Type: Enter Live Scan.
   • Description: A note about the Live Scan service you're using.
   • Months Til Expires: Set this to a large number so the Live Scan does not display "Expired" on Qualifications and Compliance views. May we suggest 9999? That's 833 years!
4. Enter any additional information needed.
5. Click Save.

6. In the navigation menu, click People Lists > Background Checks.
7. Click New Background Check.
8. Add the information you received from Live Scan.
9. For Background Check Type, select Live Scan.
10. Click Save.
