Pre-Check Check-In
Both the PocketPlatform and Online Giving apps provide an avenue for users to check in on their mobile device. Points North also offers mobile check-in. After you select Pre-Check, the individual's Household and check-in options display. You can select the events and/or groups Household members check into. The app creates an Event Participant record with the participant status of 02-Registered. If checked into a Group, the Group Participant field on the Event Participant record (not the Group field) is completed. The app also generates and displays a QR code.
When you scan the Pre-Check QR code, Check-In Suite searches for 02-Registered Event Participants registered for check-in events available at that kiosk. If found, Check-In Suite bypasses kiosk search options, changes the Event Participant status to 03-Attended, and prints name tags, if configured to do so.
If there are no 02-Registered Event Participants, Check-In Suite displays the Household search screen. Depending on the kiosk configuration, the individual may check in using the kiosk.
Event Set-Up Requirements
- An Event occurring at that Campus.
- Allow Check-In field set to Yes.
- The Participant is either in a group associated with the Event or the Search Results field is set to Allow Guests (Show Everyone).
