Programs (Ministry Efforts)

  • Programs are the ongoing ministry efforts of your Ministry Departments. They're the things your Ministry Departments budget for and/or Congregation members give towards. For example:
    • Weekly worship services at a specific campus.
    • Short-term mission trips.
    • Mid-week children's programs.
    • A building Campaign fund.
  • You must assign every Program to a Ministry (department) and a Congregation (campus).
  • Create at least one Program for every possible Congregation and Ministry pairing.
  • You need at least one Program for each account number. While you don't need to create all possible Programs, you do need to create all Programs that reflect how people can give to things you must track per campus or department.
  • You can create Programs for either Donations (tax-deductible) funds OR handle registration (non-tax-deductible) funds.
  • The list of Programs generally remains static, but may change occasionally based on your Ministries' activities.
