Group Members and Leaders

Make a Group Member a Leader

Promote a member to be a group leader, someone who manages the church group.

Permissions Required

An administrator, group leader, or user with permission to update groups can promote a member to group leader.

Group leaders organize and run your church groups. They are essential for managing members who want to join or leave the group. They also have unique communication channels with their group through the Realm Inbox.
  1. Locate the group and open its record.
  2. On the group's main page, click the Participants tab.
  3. Click the ellipsis icon next to the member's name, and select Edit.
  4. Select a Participant Type of Leader.
  5. Click Save.
