Leave a Group
Learn how to contact a group leader or church administrator to have you removed from a group.
Because it is important for churches to maintain oversight of small groups, ensuring the ministry runs smoothly, only a group leader or administrator can remove a participant or leader from a group.
Participants — If you're a participant and you want to leave a group, contact the group leader first. If there is no leader for your group, contact the church or parish administrator instead.Group Leaders — Group leaders cannot remove themselves. If you're a group leader and you've resigned your role but remain in the group, contact your church or parish administrator.
- In the top-left corner, click your site name then Connect. Then click Groups.
- Click the name of the group.
- To see the leader of the group, click the Info tab.
- To contact a group leader, click the leader's name, then click Chat.
- Enter your message, then click Send.
