Run a Query for Constant Contact
You can run a custom query for advanced emails and text messaging with Constant Contact.
Note: A SMS subscription that is blank indicates that the individual has not opted in to receive text messages from Constant Contact.
- In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Realm. Then click .
- Click the Select a main attribute drop-down menu, then select an attribute under the Constant Contact section. Primary attributes include:
- Email Status
- Email Subscription
- SMS Number
- Select an attribute in the second drop-down menu. For example, you can query on Email Status | is synced to run a report on all email addresses that are currently synced with Constant Contact.
- If you use more than one Constant Contact account you can query on a specific account.
- Click the Select an optional sub-attribute drop-down list and select Constant Contact Account.
- Select from is equal to or is not equal to in the second drop-down menu.
- Choose the account name from the third drop-down menu.
- Add another primary attribute to the report if needed:
- If you want this attribute to work in conjunction with the previous one, click And.
- If you don't want this attribute tied to the previous one, click Or.
- Narrow your results using the drop-down list under Show.
- Click Show Results.
- Simplify or expand your results. Click Edit Columns, and select the columns you want to see. To remove a column, point to it and click . This will not change your report results, just the amount of detail displayed for each record in the results. Edit Columns may be available, depending on the Show option you chose.
- Sort your results. Click a blue column name to sort the results based on that information.
- You can click the Select an action drop-down menu to choose an action to take, or you can export the list of individuals as a report by clicking and selecting either the .pdf or .csv file type.
