Background Checks

Change Background Check Settings

Change how often you want to renew background checks.

Permissions Required

Only available to administrators and users who have the Edit Background Checks permission.

Background check settings control how often you want to renew background checks and when you receive notifications to renew them.

When a background check is going to expire soon, you will see a notification for this on the Tasks page.

  1. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Realm. Then click Background Checks > Settings.
  2. Select the settings for staff and volunteer renewal frequency. Your selections are saved automatically.
