Widgets - January 2022
We're welcoming 2022 with Custom Form support for Mission Trip Application and Opportunity Response Widgets! And some enhancements and fixes, too.
All Widgets
- Standardized styling across Widgets for consistency.
- Removed duplicate Application Labels.
- Fixed an issue where leaving a widget containing page in Safari on a Mac triggered the "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" message.
Communication Widgets
- Fixed an issue where Form Instructions appeared twice in the Custom Form Widget. Form Instructions will appear once, above the custom form fields.
- Fixed an issue where standalone form responses were not assigned to the correct Contact, even when one existed.
Event Widgets
- Enhanced the Event Details & Registration Widget to hide address fields if the User is authenticated and has an address. No address? No worries! The Widget will collect it for you.
- Enhanced the Event Finder to display the next event in the series rather than an entire series of events.
- Enhanced Product styling for the Event Details & Registration Widget for consistency.
- Removed the "Leave Site" warning when a User registers through the Event Details & Registration Widget and is directed to the Invoice Detail and Payment Widget.
- Fixed an issue where Invoice Statuses showed as Some Paid despite it being Paid in Full. Invoices will now show as Paid in Full when there is no remaining balance.
- Fixed an issue where a null or $0 Deposit price showed as a $0 deposit option in the price drop-down list. When there is no deposit (either $0 or blank), the drop-down option no longer displays.
- Fixed an issue where registering for an event via the Event Details & Registration Widget with a Custom Form did not associate the Form Response when the user was not logged in.
- Fixed an issue where MinistryPlatform notes were incomplete when an unauthenticated Participant registered through the Event Details & Registration Widget.
- Fixed an issue where duplicate registrations occurred when registering for a free event through the Event Details & Registration widget.
- Fixed an issue where "Message: Address" was appended to the email address when using the Assign Participant Tool to resolve default contacts who registered through the Event Details & Registration Widget.
Giving Widgets
- Fixed an issue where Pledges made through the Make a Pledge Widget were recorded as $0.
- Fixed an issue where an incorrect end date could not be edited in the Make a Pledge Widget.
- Fixed an issue where decimal places were not accepted in the Make a Pledge Widget.
- Fixed an issue where Users received a "Leaving Site" warning when navigating away from the Make a Pledge Widget, even when they had completed making their pledge.
- Fixed an issue where users were redirected when attempting to access the My Contribution Statements Widget without being logged in.
- Fixed an issue where supported tokens in the Pledge Email Template were blank.
Group Widgets
- Enhanced the Group Details Widget so that it does not focus on the form when first arriving at the Widget.
- Enhanced Group Details Widget to left align images and limit their height to 200px.
Mission Trip Widgets
- *NEW* Added Custom Form support to the Missions Trip Widget. You can now link a Custom Form to the Mission Trip Application and the questions will collect additional information before someone can apply.
Opportunity Widgets
- *NEW* Added Custom Form support to the Opportunity Details Widget. You can now link a Custom Form to the Opportunity Details Widget and the questions will collect additional information before someone can express interest.
- Fixed an issue where responses to an Opportunity Form were not appearing on the Form Answer record.
User Widgets
- Enhanced the Login Widget to crop and center the User's photo to match the Platform and other Widgets.
