Instructions to create and transfer selections so you have a selection of new potential donors you can send a message to.

1. Create a selection of those who have made pledges.
   1. In the navigation menu, click Contributions > Pledges.
   2. Select the All Records view.
   3. Select all the records, and change the selection to Current/Unsaved Selection.
2. Transfer the selection to the Contacts page.
   1. Click the .
   2. Enter a name for the selection.

   3. Click the next to the Donors folder to open the folder.
   4. Click the Contacts folder.
   5. Click Transfer.
   6. Click Ok.
3. Transfer the selection with the Transfer Selection tool.
   1. Click Tools > Transfer Selection.
   2. In the Target Page field, select the Contacts page.
   3. Enter a name for your selection.

   4. Select the Select Heads Instead toggle. This ensures that the selection contains both the male and female heads of household.
   5. Click Transfer.
4. On the Contacts page, create a selection of people you want to communicate with.
5. Select your first selection in the drop-down list.

6. Click Tools > Transfer Selection.
7. Click the Remove from Selection tab.
8. In the Target Selection field, select the selection of contacts you want to communicate with.

9. Click Transfer.
   This removes all of those who have already pledged from the rest of those you want to communicate with.
10. Refresh the page.
11. Select the second selection you created from the drop-down list.

12. Use the New Message tool to send these contacts a message!
