Allow Guests Option

Learn how to configure the Allow Guests option and its sub-options so registrants can add additional people by name or by number.

Allow Guests

Note: These options do not prevent anyone from registering with the public link. Signing in helps connect the registrant's information for easier sign-up and reduces extra work for those coordinating events.
Register a guest by name
  • If a registrant is signed in, this option displays family members connected to their profile. They can register themselves, their connected family, or anyone else using any first and last name.
  • If the registrant is not signed in, family members connected to their profile will not display, but the registrant can enter multiple names to add additional people. When not signed in, Realm will not match these names to profiles.
Register number of guests only
  • If a registrant is signed in, this option displays family members connected to their profile. The registrant can enter a number to indicate the number of additional people attending with the registrant, including family members or guests, such as a child's friend.
  • If the registrant is not signed in, family members connected to their profile will not display. The registrant can enter any number to indicate the number of people attending with the registrant.

Locating the Allow Guests option

In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click Registration Events > Upcoming. These options are available under Advanced Options.
