Roles

Approve Volunteers for a Role

You can approve volunteers who are pending for specific roles individually, or in mass.

  • Only available to administrators and users who have the Add/Edit/Delete Volunteers permission.

Some roles have requirements that volunteers must meet, such as an age requirement or a background check. When a pending volunteer meets the role's requirements, you can approve them on the role's page.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click Volunteers > Serving Roles.
  2. To view a list of volunteers for the role, click the name of the role.
  3. To approve a single volunteer, click the ellipsis icon next to the volunteer's name, then select Approve Volunteer.
  4. If a volunteer has applied for the same role for multiple teams, select the team(s) from the list and click Approve.
    Note:

    Mass Approve Volunteers

    To approve more than one volunteer at a time, select the box next to each volunteer's name, then click Select an action... and select Approve Volunteer from the drop-down menu.
