Populate Groups Using Queries
Add people to groups in bulk using a query.
To run a query, you must be either an administrator or a user with the View Details for Individuals permission.
Additionally, you must have permission to the area(s) associated with any attributes you want to query on or have a report with those attributes shared with you.
Using a custom query is the fastest way to add multiple people to a group simultaneously.
- Create a query.
- Click Show Results.
- Select the check box next to each person you want to add to the group, or select the box at the top to choose all.
- Select Add to a Group from the Select an action list.
- Click the Ministry Area field, and select the appropriate one from the list.
- Select a Group from the drop-down list.
- Click Add to Group.
