Group Service Notification
- Frequency: Weekly on Wednesdays.
- Recipients: Group servants and leaders in Groups scheduled to serve in the next week and registered for the Event. Send Service Notification must be set to Yes for the Group. See Services and Service Types to learn more about Event Services.
- Contents: A list of events for which people can serve. Each event has a link to the portal's My Events page where Users can post attendance.
- How to Stop: Set Send Service Notification to No. Set the configuration setting below to 0 (zero). If a single servant or leader doesn't want reminders, set the Bulk Email Opt Out option to Yes on their Contact record.
- Method for Sending:MinistryPlatform.
- Logging in Messages: None.
- Configuration Settings: SERVICES: ServiceNotificationTemplateID specifies the Template to use for notifications. Set this to 0 (zero) to turn off Service Notifications.
- Merge Fields Supported: [Nickname], [Upcoming_Service_Listing].
- Initial Configuration: Set Groups to Send Service Notification. Be sure to relate groups to future events.
- Optional Configuration: Modify the message as appropriate.
