Create a Custom Calendar

You can create a custom calendar of ministry area or group events.

  • Only available to administrators and users who have the Manage Ministry Areas permission.

You can create a custom calendar of all events in a ministry area or group, or just specific events.

You can choose whether the custom calendar appears on the Events list, and whether people in the group can view the calendar and add events to their personal calendar.

  1. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Realm. Then click Groups > Calendar.
  2. Click the Custom Calendars tab.
  3. Click + Create Calendar.
  4. Enter a calendar name and description.
  5. Select Display link on Events list if you want the calendar to appear on the Events list in the Connect area of Realm.
  6. Select Display link to calendar for group participants if you want group members to be able to view the calendar and add events to their own personal calendars.
  7. Select a ministry area or group from the drop-down menu.
  8. In the Event(s) to Include drop-down, you can select from all events, primary events only, or specific events. If you choose to include specific events, a second drop-down menu appears, and you can select from a list of relevant events.
    Tip:

    Registration Events

    To create a custom calendar for registration events, select your main system group, then choose from specific events.

  9. Click Add. You will now see a list of events included on the calendar.
  10. To remove an event from this calendar, click and select Remove.
  11. To add more events to the calendar, click + Add Event.
  12. When you are done adding events to the calendar, click Save.
