Manage a Linked Constant Contact Account

Rename an account, re-link it, give another user permission to send data to it, or remove it from Realm.

Once you've linked a Constant Contact account, you manage it from the Advanced Emails & Texting page. Each account you link is managed separately.

By default, all Realm administrators can send information to every linked Constant Contact account. You can give additional users permission to help. Those users don't need their own Constant Contact account, and they won't be prompted to log in to Constant Contact when they work in Realm.

Note: Troubleshooting Linked Accounts: Occasionally, when Constant Contact applies a security update to the sync — Realm is logged out of your account. The sync stops running until you re-link. Administrators receive an email when this happens, and a notification appears under each account that needs re-linking. You must re-link each account separately.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click Communications > Constant Contact.
  2. Find the account you want to change, then do one of the following.
    • Rename the account. Next to the account name, click the more options icon and select Edit Account Name. Enter the new name, then click Save.

    • Re-link the account. In the notification under the account's name, click re-link. Log in to your Constant Contact account, then click Allow when prompted to give Realm permission. The daily sync resumes automatically.

    • Give another user permission. Under the account, click + Add another user, then enter the user's name. To remove permission from someone who isn't an administrator, click the cancel button next to their name.

    • Remove the account. Next to the account name, click the more options icon and select Remove Account. To confirm, click Remove Account again.
