Attendance Reporting
There are several attendance reports you can run from the Events and Groups pages. For more information on all reports available in MinistryPlatform, see the Alphabetical List of Reports.
You can run reports from two perspectives: events or groups. Because an event can include people who attend the event without being part of a group, these numbers may differ slightly.
From the Events Page - Select the events to report on, then launch one of the following reports:
Selected Event Group Attendance
Selected Event Metrics
This report summarizes attendance, metrics, and milestones for this event.
Selected Event Participants List
Create a printable list of event participants for the selected events.
Selected Event Summary
From the Groups Page - Select the groups to report on, then launch one of the following reports:
Selected Group Attendee Search
Find group participants or their parents based on having attended a number of times in a specific time period. This report includes filters for minimum attendance, maximum attendance, program, congregation/parish, group type, group role, and enrolled date. This report can save a selection back to the database.

Selected Group Attendance by Individual
Review the attendance for each person in the selected groups.
Selected Group Attendance by Event Type
Summarize group member attendance, including an event type filter for those groups that attend more than one type of event and need separate attendance. Event dates are listed for every event associated with the program(s) assigned to the group. This report uses the Ignore Program Groups field on the Event record.
Selected Group Last Attended
- The Group Participant field on the Event Participant record must be completed,
- The event participant's Participation Status must be 03 Attended or 04 Confirmed,
- The event's program must match the program in the report filter, and
- The congregation/parish of the event's program must match the congregation/parish in the report filter.
