View Email Opt-Outs

See everyone in your site who is currently blocked from receiving email, when they were opted out, and why.

  • You must be an administrator.

The Email Opt-Outs tab is the master list of people who can no longer receive email from your site. Use it to confirm whether a specific person has opted out, look up the reason, or review recent opt-outs.

  1. Click Communications > Opt-out Management.
  2. Select the Email Opt-Outs tab if it is not already selected.
    The number in parentheses next to the tab name shows the total number of people on the list.
  3. Sort the list by clicking a column heading.

    You can sort by:

    • Contact Information — alphabetically by name
    • Opt-Out Date — by when the person was opted out
    • Reason — by why the person was opted out

    Click the same heading again to reverse the sort order.

  4. To see more about a person, click their name to open their profile.

The list shows each person's name, photo (if available), email address, and phone number, along with the opt-out date and reason. If a person has the Opt Back In button next to their name, you can restore their email — see Opt Someone Back In to Email.
