Create a Badge Template

Design printed check-in badges that you can associate with kiosks, ministry areas, or groups, including optional security flags using custom fields.

  • Only available to administrators and users who have the Manage Kiosks permission.

You can create templates for your printed check-in badges, which you can later associate with a kiosk, ministry area, or group. To add custom fields, for example, in custody situations or other alerts, see Add Custom Profile Fields to a Badge Template.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click Check-In.
  2. Click the Badges tab.
  3. Click Add New Badge Template.
  4. Name the badge.
  5. Select the items you want to appear on each badge printed from this kiosk. If the contents don't fit, either clear some of the selections, or decrease the font sizes.
    Note:
    • Security ID, which is turned on by default, creates security codes to match parents with children at the end of class.
    • Event location(s) will only pull from the locations you have created in Realm.
    • +Add a Custom Field will add a custom field you have created within Realm.
    • Emergency Contact prints the name and phone number of the person's preferred emergency contact. You can add it to name badges as well as security badges, whether or not Security ID is selected. If someone has no emergency contact on file, nothing prints in its place.
  6. Click Save.
