View and Edit Salary History

You can view the history of an employee's salary. After making changes in the Wages/Master Paycheck window, you're prompted to log the information in the Salary History automatically. You can also enter salary changes directly in this window.
  1. On the Payroll tab, click Employees > Salary History.
  2. Click the add icon green plus sign above the grid.
  3. Enter the date of the salary change.
  4. In the From columns, enter the current salary amount and frequency.
  5. In the To columns, enter the new salary amount and frequency.
  6. In the Description column, enter an optional description of the salary change.
  7. At the top, click Save.
