11.1G Release

If you're part of the Preferred Client Program, you can download the latest desktop version in the Client Portal.

PDS DioOffice 11.1G, released for desktop 8-8-24 and OnDemand 8-15-24, offers the following enhancements.

New and Improved Features

Count of Duplicates
  • When checking for duplicate family records, you can now tell how many records have been processed and how many are left. At the bottom of the list, click Count to see the number of records marked with each action.

Next Available ID Number
  • When you manage parishes and choose to make a separate family, you're now prompted to enter the ID number for the new family. If you want to use the next available ID number, just leave the prompt blank and click OK.

  • Then, you'll be able to confirm the ID number for the new family.

Postal Rate Changes
  • The USPS updated postal rates, effective July 14, 2024. These changes were made in your PDS program and released on Monday, July 15. Next time you run EZ-Mail, you'll receive a message that allows you to download the new postal forms. For details on the changes, see 2024 Postage Price Changes (USPS website).
New Scanner Option
  • The MagTek® MICRSafe™ Encrypting Check Scanner 22551002 is now available for use with payment/donation entry. This is a single-feed MICR reader with encryption. For all options, see Compatible Products.
New Videos
  • Our team created new videos for various PDS tasks, like the basics of running reports (under Reports & Selections).

Corrections

We fixed issues that were reported internally to our team, as well as the following issue that affected some of our customers:
  • If you modified a batch and changed the family for a payment, that payment was being posted to the wrong parish.
