The Opportunity Finder widget displays opportunities that are both available online and currently accepting responses. Check out the Opportunity Finder widget at Widget Church to see it in action!

• Opportunities are sorted by date (ongoing, then by most recent) and then alphabetically by opportunity title.
• Keyword search looks for a match in the title, description, program name, and ministry name.
• People can filter by:
  • Campus
  • Key word
  • Ministry (current ministries only)
  • Gender required
  • Minimum age
  • Frequency
  • Attribute type, if you show the attribute filter
• You can pre-filter the URL by specific search criteria. For example, you could pre-filter it to only display opportunities at a certain campus.
• Opportunities must meet certain criteria to display in the Opportunity Finder widget. Make sure the visibility level is set appropriately on the opportunity record. The associated program (and its ministry) must also be current and have Available Online set to Yes.
• The image attached to the opportunity displays. If no image is attached, a default image is used.
• You can add the Custom Form widget to your Opportunity Finder widget to gather information from the start. The questions collect additional information before someone can express interest.

Sections

Title

The name of the opportunity.

Campus

The campus associated with the opportunity's program.

Date

The date the opportunity occurs. If left blank, the opportunity displays as "Ongoing".

Tip: You can customize the "Ongoing" wording using thempp-opportunity-details.ongoingLabel application label.

Description

A brief description of the opportunity.

This launches the Opportunity Detail widget, with more information and an interest form.
