Three new giving screens are now available for everyone!
Giving
- No matter which giving platform you're using, there are three new screens that you can add in your app:
- My Giving History is just like the My Giving widget. Authenticated users can see details of their past financial gifts for all campuses/parishes, including gifts given by their spouse. The list shows icons for different payment types, including cash, check, stock, and ACH/bank/other.
- My Pledges is just like the My Pledges widget. Authenticated users can view and manage their active pledges, including those at different campuses/parishes. They can see each of their family member's progress, give toward a pledge, or cancel a pledge.
- My Statements is just like the My Contribution Statements widget. Authenticated users can view and download the five most recent statements on record. These include amounts for all campuses/parishes.
My Giving History My Pledges My Statements Important: The Giving History and Statements will display amounts for all campuses/parishes. These screens do not filter based on the Campus/Parish Selector.Want these screens to honor the Campus/Parish Selector? In an upcoming release, you'll be able to set a configuration option to do this!
Volunteer Connect
- We created new functionality to coordinate with Volunteer Connect! Earlier this year, we made it possible to show a link to Group Connect in the navigation menu for users who were active participants in a group. Now, you can also show a link in the user navigation menu for Volunteer Connect! This only displays to users who are active participants in a volunteer group, and they will be able to access Volunteer Connect right from PocketPlatform. Contact Support to set up the link in your app menu.
Reminders
- Recent Change to Life Apps: In the Life Apps November release, we changed the names of the Care Life and Group Life applications to Care Connect and Group Connect. Volunteer Connect and Need Connect already followed this pattern. These are now collectively known as Connect Suite.
- Portal access will end December 31. The Portal has served many churches for years. But now that its functionality is available in newer, modern tools like PocketPlatform, Connect Suite, and Widgets, we are disabling access. For details, see End of Portal Access.
