Customize Page Icons

A SPoC can customize the icons that display for pages in the Platform.

You can display an icon beside certain pages in the navigation menu. Note the following:

  • Page icons do not display for pages within a section or folder in the Advanced menu. For example, in this screenshot, you can see that the pages below the "Compliance" section do not have an icon:

  • For pages that don't expand, the Platform pulls the Image Name from the Page record, not the Page Section record.
  • For page sections that have a primary page associated as the Basic Navigation Page, the Platform pulls the Image Name from the Page record.
  1. Go to the Font Awesome library.
  2. Find the icon, and click it.
  3. Note the icon name.
    The envelope icon name is fa-envelope-open.

  4. In MinistryPlatform, go to System Setup > Pages.
  5. Open the Page record.
  6. Click Edit Record.
  7. In the Image Name field, enter the icon name.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Refresh the Platform cache for the changes to take effect.
    1. Click your user photo in the top right, and select About.
    2. Click Clear Cache.
