Create a Batch

  1. In the navigation menu, click Contributions > Donations.
  2. Open the donation or select donations.
  3. From the Tools menu, select Create Batch Tool.
  4. Select the congregation.
  5. Enter a name for the batch and deposit, if applicable. This name can be up to 75 characters.
  6. Select the type of batch from the drop-down list.
    Note: The values in the drop-down list come from System Lookups > Batch Entry. We do not recommend modifying the batch types.
  7. Select whether to finalize and deposit the batch.
    • When you select this option, the tool creates and finalizes the batch, then creates the associated deposit.
    • When cleared, the tool will not finalize the batch or create a deposit.
  8. If you selected to finalize and deposit the batch, select the date for the deposit to be created. It defaults to the current date. To change it, click the calendar icon.
  9. Click Create Batch.
    A success message displays.
  10. Close the tool.
