Reset Your Password

Change your password without logging in to MinistryPlatform.

  • To reset your password by text message, you must be able to receive texts from MinistryPlatform.
Note: If you created a MinistryPlatform account using a shared email address, you can't reset your password. Contact your administrator for more information.
Forgot your password? It happens to the best of us! Reset your password and log back in.
  1. On the login screen, click Forgot your password?.

  2. In the First Name field, enter your first name.
  3. In the Last Name field, enter your last name.
  4. In the Email Address field, enter your email address, or in the Mobile Phone field, enter your mobile phone number.
  5. Click Next.
    You'll receive a confirmation email or text message within a few minutes. For security purposes, this code only works for 10 minutes.
  6. In the confirmation email or text message, copy the one-time verification code.
  7. Back in the MinistryPlatform browser, paste the verification code in the Code field.
  8. Click Verify Code.
    Tip: Didn't receive your code? Be sure to check your spam folder! If you didn't receive the code or the time expired, click Resend Code to receive a new code and try again.
  9. In the New Password field, enter a new password.
  10. In the Confirm Password field, re-enter the new password.
  11. Click Reset Password.
Now you should be able to log in to MinistryPlatform using your same username and your new password.
