Log In with a Code

Access MinistryPlatform with a code instead of your username and password.

Your church may allow you to log in using a unique code rather than remembering your password. This is called authentication via code. Authentication via code is a secure method to log in without the need to remember or reset your passwords.
Note: You can't authenticate via code if you created an account using an email or phone number that you share with someone else.
  1. Open a supported web browser, and go to your MinistryPlatform URL.

You'll receive either an email or text message with a six-digit verification code, depending on what you selected.

  6. Optional: Select the Keep me logged in on this device checkbox. This option keeps you logged in on this device for up to three months or until you log out of MinistryPlatform. Only do this on trusted devices, like a personal computer.
  7. On the login screen, enter the six-digit verification code in the corresponding text box.
Note: This code expires in 10 minutes. Enter your verification code into the corresponding text box before these 10 minutes are up.
If your username and verification code work, MinistryPlatform opens. If your username or verification code doesn't work or your administrator hasn’t given you a security role, a message displays to let you know. Trouble logging in? Reset your password or contact your administrator.
