Complete a Background Check

Participants can complete background checks in three ways: from their profiles, during event registration, and from an event. This article describes how to request a background check from your profile.

  • Admins must approve A user can request a background check without being on an event that requires it before participants not attending an active event can request one.

Participants can request or complete a background check to keep on file, even if they are not registering for an event.

  1. Click your profile picture and select My Profile.
  2. On the left menu, click Background Check.
  3. Click Get a Background Check.
  4. Complete the form with your personal information.
  5. Optional: If required, enter your billing information to pay for the background check, then click Pay for Background Check.
  6. After you read the disclosure and acknowledgments, click Submit.
