Refresh Engiven Status
Refresh the status to see if a stock or cryptocurrency contribution has moved forward in the process or has failed.
- You must have the Enter Gifts permission to perform this task. See Responsibilities for more information.
- In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click .
- On the Manual tab, make sure Open is selected.
- Click
beside an open batch and select Refresh Engiven Status.

Stock
- Promised
- A contribution has been initiated. The contributor received instructions on how to transfer stock through the Depository Trust Company (DTC). We're waiting for the brokerage account that holds their funds to be notified of the gift. Promised batches cannot be deleted.
- In Process
- Engiven Foundation has received the contribution and has begun processing. The contributor has received an email receipt acknowledging their gift. Batches that are in process cannot be deleted.
- Disbursement in Process
- Engiven Foundation has liquidated the contribution and is preparing for disbursement of the USD proceeds. When funds are being disbursed, the batch cannot be deleted.
- Paid
- Engiven Foundation processed the contribution, and has disbursed funds to the address on file. The contribution is ready to post. Paid batches cannot be deleted.
- Canceled
- A promised contribution was either never received, or a contributor canceled it.
Cryptocurrency
- Promised
- A contribution has been initiated. The contributor has received a destination public address. We're waiting for the destination public address to be notified about the gift. Promised batches cannot be deleted.
- Expired
- The promised contribution was not received by the destination public address within 24 hours. If the contributor gives cryptocurrency to the expired destination public address, the gift will be confirmed.
- Confirmed
- Engiven Foundation processed the contribution, and it's ready to post. Confirmed batches cannot be deleted.
