Resources

Add Custom Fields to Resource Types

Each resource type (items, locations, and people) can have up to four custom text fields.

You can use these fields to track information about each resource. For example, items might have a Serial Number custom field.

You can also change custom field labels and remove custom fields. If you change the name of a custom field, the label changes, but the data does not.

  1. On the Administration tab, click Options.
  2. Under the resource type, enter the name of the custom field in a blank field.
  3. Click OK.
