Help Someone Opt into Texting
Per FCC regulations, an individual must elect to opt-into receiving texts from you. While you cannot opt someone back in like email, you can help them restore their ability to receive texts from your site with instructions sent via email.
You must be an administrator.
Your site must have an active text messaging subscription. If your site is not subscribed to text messaging, the Texts Opt-Outs tab does not appear on the page.
People are added to the Texts Opt-Outs list when they reply STOP (or another opt-out keyword) to a text from your church. Use this list to confirm whether a specific person has opted out, look up the reason, or review recent opt-outs. Before you send an email, make sure the person wants to receive email or texts from your site again.
There are alternative methods for communicating text opt-in that may be more helpful when you are trying to reach many people at once. See Invite Others to Opt in to Text Communications.
After you click send, you'll see a brief on-screen confirmation that the email was sent.
