Custom forms and payments—together at last!

  • Now, you can associate a product with a custom form. That means you can collect payments online without setting up a registration event! This works really well for standalone product sales (like bake sales and church merchandise) and ongoing fees (like book fees and facility rentals).
  • This feature supports product options and product option groups, too. You can also connect a program so you will be able to see where the monies are coming from.

Custom Forms

  • Want to change the wording of the "Personal Details" section on custom forms? There's an application label for that! Open and edit the record for mpp-custom-form.personalDetailsTitle to customize the wording that's used in the Custom Forms widget.
  • Custom forms now show the quantity of each remaining product option. For example, when registering for an event, people can see that there are 15 spots left for the breakout session and 10 workbooks left. The number is calculated as the Max Qty for that product option minus the current number of that product option selected on invoices.
  • For better readability, custom forms now shows registrant names as "First Last" instead of "Last, First". And when they're selecting who to register, the Nickname displays in parentheses, which is helpful when choosing between similarly named people, like "John Smith" and "John Smith, Jr. (Johnny)".

Invoice Details & Payments

  • When people register or buy items through the Invoice Details & Payments widget, it's now easier to see where promo codes are applied, per person, along with subtotal amounts.

My Invoices Widget

  • We revamped the way invoices are shown in My Invoices. Authenticated users can now see what each invoice is for (the event name or form name) and their payment status. They can expand an invoice to see more details, like who is registered, which options they chose, if any discounts were applied, the amount paid, and the remaining balance. The Payment History section shows what they've paid so far, and there's an option to pay the balance.
  • Each invoice now shows the Invoice ID. This is helpful for staff if a congregant calls asking questions about an invoice. Staff can ask for that Invoice ID and quickly locate it in MinistryPlatform.
  • For better readability, the widget now shows names as "First Last" instead of "Last, First".
