Message Recap Notification
Message Recap notification emails are sent to Message Authors twice after they send an email to more than the selected Recipients.
The notification summarizes the details of the Action Status (Errors, Delivered, Delivered and Opened, and so on) for one individual message. If you send multiple qualifying messages, you will receive a separate Message Recap notification for each message.
Tip: Use this notification with SendGrid for additional Action Status tracking and updates.
- Frequency: Twice per message - the two days after the message was sent.Note: "Days" depends on when the message was sent and when your Platform jobs run, which is typically around 5:00 am.
- Recipients: The Message Author of the outgoing message (with the qualified minimum number of recipients set by the SERVICES, MessageRecapMinimumRecipients configuration setting).
Note: The recipient must have access to the Messages page.
- From/Reply To: The template's From Contact and Reply To Contact. If there is no valid email address, the notification uses mpsupport@acst.com.
- Contents: An email summarizing the details of the Action Status (Errors, Delivered, Delivered and Opened, and so on).
- How to Stop: Set the SERVICES, MessageRecapNotificationTemplateID configuration setting to 0 (zero).
- Method for Sending: Platform.
- Logging in Messages: Daily. MinistryPlatform copies the template message and logs the recipients.
- Configuration Settings:
- SERVICES, MessageRecapNotificationTemplateID specifies the message template for notifications. Set to 0 (zero) to turn off Message Recap notifications.
- SERVICES, MessageRecapMinimumRecipients allows you to customize the minimum number of recipients needed to send the notification. The default value is set to 100. You can change this to 50, 150, and so on.
- Merge Fields Supported:
- Subject&Body: [Subject].
- Body only: [Nickname], [Date_Sent], [Current_Date_Time], [Message_URL], [Recipients], [Message_Recap].
- Initial Configuration: None.
- Optional Configuration: You can modify the message template.
