Learn how to use the Link Generator in PocketPlatform for easy creation of in-app links.

1. In MinistryPlatform, go to PocketPlatform then to the page that's relevant to the link you're adding: Lists of Lists, Announcements, or Livestreams.
2. Open the record that should include a link to a different screen. When the link is generated, it will be added to this record.
3. From the Tools menu, select Link Generator.
4. Click in the Screen field to select the screen you want to link to.
   Tip: If you're adding a livestream and want it to play natively in the app, select Video Player, then enter the URL of the livestream media. If the webpage you're linking to has an embedded video player, you'll need to enter the URL of the video stream itself (usually ending in .m3u8).
5. Enter the appropriate information in the fields.
   Note: The fields are dynamic based on where you're linking to. But don't worry, the Link Generator will guide the way!
6. Save the record.
   You'll see a message letting you know that you can close the tool and encouraging you to refresh the Platform record.
7. Refresh your Platform view. The link will now display in the Link URL field or the Stream URL field.
