Equip Your Group & Team Leaders
Depending on your org chart, the communications director, or other administrators and staff with permissions, are responsible for enabling communication methods for group and team leaders and exercising oversight across various targeted communications and the methods used to deliver them.
For example, a small group or serving team leader cannot send email or text messages to members unless these specific methods have been enabled. But you can decide which groups or teams can send email, text and whether or not replies are seen by just the leaders or all members of a group or team.
Administrators or staff with appropriate permissions must enable or disable communication at the ministry area level. To enable group communication, see Enable Communication for Ministry Areas. If enabled, group and team leaders can update communication settings for their groups or teams. These settings are located in each group or team's profile. Enable Group Communication.
