W-2s, Wage Reports, and Voids (oh my!)

Void dates are taken into account. If you void an employee's payment after you've already filed quarterly or annual tax forms but don't want those totals affected, no problem! We've updated the W-2 and Wage Report to consider when a void happens. For example, if you need to void and reissue a December 2024 check in January 2025, neither action will affect the totals of each year.

Tax Updates

Colorado has a new tax for 2024. Realm Accounting automatically accounts for and calculates the Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave local tax.

We've also added an update for Massachusetts. Realm Accounting automatically accounts for and calculates the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave Tax. You can now remove any manual adjustments associated with employee records to withhold this tax.
