PDS Church Office 11.2E, released for desktop 5-15-25 and OnDemand 5-22-25, offers the following enhancements.

New and Improved Features

Texting through Twilio

Do you use Twilio for texting? Now, you can send text messages from PDS using your Twilio account! You can set up the integration in the Email & Text Setup window, and send a test text to make sure it's connected properly.

Once your integration is set up, you can send text messages from PDS! And, there's a quick link to the Twilio Console so you can see information about sent messages.

Test Your Email & Text Setup

Need to make sure your email server or text message setup is correctly? Now, you can send a test email or test text (if you're using a texting company)! From the appropriate tab in the Email & Text Setup window, click Test Email or Test Texting. Enter the necessary information, along with a To Email Address or To Phone that you have access to. When you're ready, send the test. You'll see the results in the window, and, if successful, you should receive the email or text message at the email address or mobile number you entered.

Spanish Characters in Registration Forms

¡You can now include Spanish characters (like accented letters and inverted punctuation) in registration forms! Some default buttons are not editable, but you can update the labels on most form fields as well as the form introduction and instructions.

Responsive Registration Form

When you create a new web registration form, it now defaults to the Responsive View layout. This way, the form will easily display for people using their computer, tablet, or mobile phone. We recommend this layout for any web registration form you create to provide the best view on any device.

Import Checks or Payments

Using the Import Checks/Payments process, you can now import fund history information for checks and payments that are scanned at your bank. After you select the import file that you received from your bank, select the fund and activity from your file or from PDS. Then, you can indicate the identification information and the check/payment information that you want to import from your file.
Tip: This import process is a great alternative to SpeedCheck, which will not be available after May 31, 2025.

Delete Archived Records

Need to remove family records that are not being used by your PDS program(s)? Now, there's a process for that! From the File menu, click System Processes then Delete Archived Families. Any records that are not being used by PDS display in the grid.
You can print the list (which includes each family's fund and member information) and delete the selected records you no longer need. For step-by-step instructions, see Delete Archived Families.
