Clear or Hide Task

Remove tasks that don't need to be resubmitted.

You might clear or hide a task for a Purchase Request that was not approved. In this case, the task doesn't need to be resubmitted and can be cleared.

Administrators can clear a task from the User Tasks page:
  1. In the navigation menu, click Communications > User Tasks.
  2. Open the appropriate Task record.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Change Complete to Yes.
  5. Click Save.
Any user can hide a task assigned to them:
  1. In the navigation menu, click Home, then click the My Tasks tab.
  2. Open the rejected Task record.
  3. Select Hide.
  4. Click Save.

The task is removed from outstanding tasks, and the user will not be reminded about it again.
