Routine & Process

The Statement Maintenance routine is a nightly routine that manages current and unarchived statements. This routine associates donations with the correct statement, populates the statement description, associates donors with the correct statement, and updates the salutation as needed.

The Statement Maintenance Required process updates the same information as the Statement Maintenance routine. To manually trigger this process, update the Accounting Company record.

Archiving

You can automatically or manually archive statements. This ensures accuracy for past statements as data (aging out, marital status changes, and so on) changes over time. Want to do an archiving deep dive? See Archiving Standard Statements.

Note: If you need to make corrections after archiving, you can unarchive statements by setting Archived to No. This is not true of all corrections scenarios, and you should only do this necessary. See Archiving for more information about how to correct archived statements. Spoiler alert: unarchiving isn't always necessary!
