Notes about Integrations

• Churches with any of our integrations can use the Background Check Request Tool to send out Background Check Requests.
• Background Check results return and update in their respective Background Check Request records. Checks come back All Clear as Undefined, then require someone to review the report and set All Clear to Yes or No.
  Note: You don't have to take this extra step if you integrated with Protect My Ministry and set up adjudication rules with them).
• If your package includes MVR or Credit Check details, these don't go to the Background Check record. You can find them in the report linked (see Report URL) in the Background Check record. You can manually record them in a custom field or table, if needed.
• Verified First customers: To remove background check types you no longer use in MinistryPlatform, you must first delete the background check package in Verified First. This triggers a process to delete the background check types from MinistryPlatform. If you've used the Verified First package to process a background check, Verified First prompts you to select which package to transfer the background check to.
