Need Connect is a MinistryPlatform application that helps identify users with needs (requesters) as well as users who can help provide assistance (providers) and pairs them to effectively serve your local community.
Need Connect lists various Need Types that are part of a Need Campaign. Requesters of needs receive email confirmation at different steps throughout the process keeping them informed of the status of their need. Meanwhile, providers of needs receive access to the online Connect Board so they can find a need they can help with and assign themselves to fill it. Providers also receive email confirmations with various options throughout the process as well as reminders for incomplete assignments.
Ultimately, you manage the needs in the Platform and define which areas of service you want to extend to the local community. This Quick Start guide outlines the initial items that an administrator needs to set up and helps create a big picture concept of the workflow process.
