LifeApps - October 2022
This fall we're enhancing Life Apps and adding features to make things easy, intuitive, and even more user-friendly. Oh yeah, and there are some bug fixes, too.
Life Apps
- Enhanced Life Apps date and time stamps to reflect the domain time.
- Enhanced Life Apps to display all Event dates and times in the Congregation's time zone.
- Enhanced Life Apps OAuth so that when a User is authenticated in any MinistryPlatform application, they are authenticated in all other applications for a unified experience.
Care Life
- Enhanced Care Life to display both Nicknames and First Names if they are not the same. If the Nickname is different than the First Name, it will be displayed in parenthesis.
- Enhanced Care Life by adding a Care Life Case Viewer Security Role. Users with this role can see all Care Cases, but cannot add, edit, or close Care Cases that are not assigned to them.
- Fixed an issue where the Select All check box was visible for Care Life Managers when it should only be visible for Users with a Security Role of Care Life Case Administrator.
Group Life
- Enhanced Group Life messages to give Group Leaders the ability to format their emails, including the ability to bold, italicize, underline, change font color, use bullet and numbered lists, insert links, and so on.
- Enhanced Group Life so that Group Primary Contacts do not have access to the Applicants Tab or Alerts.
- Enhanced Group Life so Group Leaders can add notes when taking attendance and have that note appear on the Event Participant record.
- Enhanced meeting scheduling in Group Life so that the User is returned to the Meeting Detail page after the new Meeting is created and saved.
- Enhanced Group Life to display Group Role and birthdates (month and date) for Group members.
- Added a message indicating that attendance had been updated. As always, attendance is complete upon checking the box next to a Group Member's name.
- Fixed an issue where the attendance total for all Groups meeting during an Event was displayed in Group Life rather than the attendance total for the specific Group.
