Think of profile notes as a sticky note of important things to remember about your Go Method participants.

Profile notes are private and confidential notes attached to a person's profile. They are for internal use only and can only be seen by users with Can View Profile Notes or Can View Confidential Profile Notes security roles.

For example, you could add a note to a person's profile stating that the person has participated in four mission trips in the last 15 months and would like to be considered as a trip leader for an upcoming mission trip. Because you added that profile note, you'll remember to consider that participant for a trip leader position for the next mission trip.
