Profile Notes

Add a Profile Note

Make a note regarding a specific person in Go Method.

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
  • You must have one of the following security roles: Can View Profile Notes or Can View Confidential Profile Notes.
Use a profile note to remember something about a specific person. For example, if a person has attended several mission trips and wants to be considered for a leadership position on a future mission trip, you can make note of that in the person's notes section of their Go Method profile.
  1. Search for the person's profile in the global search bar.
  2. Click the person's profile.
  3. Click View All Notes.

  4. Click New Note.
  5. Enter the note.
  6. Optional: Select the permissions of this note. To choose that only people with the Can View Profile Notes role can view this note, click the Profile Note check box. To choose that only people with the Can View Confidential Notes role can view this note, click the Confidential check box.
  7. Optional: Use the Which event is this note specific to? drop-down list to select the event you want this note to apply to.
    CAUTION: You can't associate a profile note with an event if you checked the Profile Note check box.

  8. Click Add Note.
