Batch Manager Tool - Releasing March 2026
We worked behind the scenes to improve your BMT experience! This release will go out to East Coast customers on March 2nd and to everyone else on March 9th.
- *ENHANCEMENT* We enhanced the back-end scanning service to be faster and better read the printed and handwritten text on checks.
- When adding a new Pledge Batch, the Pledge Period and Date of Donation fields now populate with the same date that you defined for the Batch Date.
- We removed the Default Batch View option from the batch's Settings menu. The list defaults with all entries collapsed for the best performance while adding donations. Of course, you can still expand all the entries in the list by clicking Expand All at the top of a batch.
- When you selected batches and changed the Show filter, selections would persist but the checkmark disappeared. You can now clear selections, and selections will display correctly based on the active filter.
- When tabbing through fields to the Memo field, the page would scroll too far down, hiding important donor information. We've added a small summary above the Memo field to ensure you see all relevant data.
- We enhanced the keyboard navigation in the BMT so you can interact with date fields and buttons better.
- We corrected several other issues that were reported to our team.

- Live Chat in the Platform: SPoCs and Parish Reps can now chat with Support directly in MinistryPlatform! Live chat with Support is available Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST/EDT. When chat is not available, you can still contact Support in the usual ways.
- Recent Change to Life Apps: In the last Life Apps release, we changed the names of the Care Life and Group Life applications to Care Connect and Group Connect. Volunteer Connect and Need Connect already followed this pattern. These are now collectively known as Connect Suite.
- Portal access has ended. Portal access has ended. You can still use portal redirects if needed. See this article for details.
