What would you like to know more about?

April 29, 2026

This release includes security and sign-in enhancements designed to give you more ways to sign in, make it easier for staff to help with password issues, and strengthen account security across your organization.

There are several important announcements this week.

Many church offices have called support with concerns about third-party applications, such as QZ Printing or labels or check scanning no longer working. Please be advised that this has to do with enhanced security released by most major web browsers such as Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

Attention:

If your browser prompts you to allow or block onrealm.org access to apps and services on your device, you must click Allow to proceed. If you click Block, it alters site settings in your browser, preventing use of these third-party apps.

Coming Soon! Passkey Support for Easier Sign-in

No more remembering usernames and passwords! You're now able to use a passkey to verify your identity when signing in to Realm or the Connect mobile App. A passkey uses your mobile device's built-in security (like Face ID, Touch ID, or your phone's fingerprint reader or PIN) to confirm it's really you. It's the same thing you already use to unlock your phone or computer.

Why use it?

  • Faster and easier than opening an app on your phone, no code or app required to verify identity.

  • There's nothing to type. Just use your face, fingerprint, or device PIN.

  • More secure than a single password.

When you set up a passkey, your computer or phone becomes your second layer of security, similar to two-factor authentication. As long as you have your phone or computer with you, signing in is quick and simple.
